1. THREE MEMBERSHIPS IN ONE! Your dues for THBA also cover membership with Louisiana Home Builders Association (LHBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
2. LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT The combined memberships serve as your legislative watchdog locally, statewide, and nationally in regulatory issues that affect your business.
3. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS Seminars are offered throughout the year free of charge to members. Builders can earn their required CEU credits for license renewal at any of these.
4. INSURANCE Competitive workers' comp. rates are offered through Homebuilders SIF. Also, general liability is offered to builders through the LHBA General Liability Trust. Both companies service members only.

NETWORKING Monthly general membership meetings and THBA After Hours events give you the opportunity to increase your business contacts by networking with fellow members, plus you get an evening or lunch out to enjoy a great meal and program with guest speakers. Committee involvement gives you an even more in-depth look at how the organization works and the smaller group setting allows you to get to know your fellow committee members better.

Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available to associate members. Or exhibit at the annual Home Show, which attracts hundreds of customers to your showcase of products or services.

11. GIVING BACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY As a group, the THBA wants to be able to give something back to Tangipahoa. Over the past 10 years, the annual Golf Tournament and the calendar, “More Impressions of Tangipahoa”, have enabled THBA to give away $43,000 in scholarships to Southeastern students. Since 2001, the Home for the Holidays Charity House has generated more than $328,000 to local charities in Tangipahoa Parish.
